Who am I?

 My name is Ana Cristina Gutierrez Castro. I am Costa Rican, Specialized Physician in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, graduated from the University of Costa Rica, with more than 30 years of professional experience.

Since my early years as a medical professional, after dealing with thousands of patients, listening to their stories, witnessing their evolution and trying to ease them the best way I could, I started to feel the urge to go deeper and with an all-round approach…

Physical illnesses develop over time as a result of the combination of many factors, inherited or predisposed, and those that depend on how we transit our lives…if we eat healthy, exercise, drink alcohol, smoke, etcetera.

​

Physical illnesses can also be frequently related to our emotions, our beliefs about ourselves and about others, the way we comprehend both the surrounding and our interior world, and also the way we handle and process our everyday life and our difficulties.

One concern led to another one until I started upon my journey here…
